>>LB aren't they hot if they are jalapena peppers? WOW!!!!!

Hi!

NOOOO.!!...That's just what makes them so " addictive " (cream-cheese stuffed

deep fried jalapeno peppers).  They AREN'T all that hot because I guess the

cream cheese, being creamy and bland, sort of cools it all off!  I could NEVER

eat a whole (or in the case

of these, a half jalapeno pepper " naked " --un-cheese stuffed and not breaded...

The crumb

and batter breading and the mellow cream cheese just seem to take a lot of the

" heat " out

of the hot pepper and what's left is a really neat taste!

The very first time I tried these, our family was on a long road trip

(car-vacation), and for

the first time we were going to Savannah, GA.  Our minivan had been stalled in

Atlanta for

several hours after a rear window suddenly had shattered--right in the middle of

the thru-way

traffic on I-75; we'd gotten it repaired, but, late in the day, we set out on

our way toward Savannah.

That highway between Macon, GA. and Savannah is long and lonely!  We stopped

about

half-way to get something to eat.  That is the first time I noticed the

" poppers " on the menu

at the Arby's we drove thru--and I tried them.  Oh!  What a wonderful taste!  I

fell in love with the buggers!  (That might also have been the same trip when I

" discovered " the joy of eating  BOILED PEANUTS, as well..  I love going to

different places and finding new foods

to try and enjoy!)

The potato wedge things are just like my fantasy food from childhood.  I

haven't found a

" potato " food that I didn't like--except I'm not all that crazy about

" gnocchis " .  Anything else, if it's made with or from potatoes, BRING IT ON!!!

(I'd probably like " fried " gnocchis, however!)
