Guest guest
Re: Audrey OT Oh, Audrey, that's too bad! But at least you get to have her back with you a little longer! I highly doubt she actually DID " hiss and growl " all that much--some people seem prone to making a big fuss out of what, for an animal, is just a few odd, quirky noises! Was the little boy really " afraid " of it all or was the mom just reading too much into a rather normal scenario? If Sally seemed to take to the little boy and licked his fingers, I am sure there was no REAL " danger " , ever--the woman just seems to have " issues " , IMHO! I do hope your sweet Sally can still get herself a nice, loving home! I am sure she will--perhaps the best is yet to be for her! {{{Hugs!}}}, Laura B., who wishes she could take another cat into her home-- " Sally " sounds like such a sweetie! Apparently, she hissed and growled periodically in the night (who could blame her, new place??) and the woman doesn't want her 7-year-old to be afraid of animals. Oh, people... grrr....! Audrey S. Guest guest
It's tough. I'm afraid I'm stuck with a third cat! She's now 8 months old and she's not friendly at the adoption events. I love her, but it makes me nervous to have 3 cats in an apartment where I'm only supposed to have one. I don't know if the little boy was actually afraid or not, mom said he was, so who knows. I suggested that maybe they could put her in a bathroom until she got used to the new smells and sounds in the house, but the woman said no, they're living with her sister and brother-in-law right now, and that's not an option -- I'm afraid I was a little rude when I said " Well, I guess this just isn't a good time for you to be getting a cat! " Oops! Oh well, it was obviously true!! PEOPLE...! Audrey S. On Sun, Dec 7, 2008 at 2:51 PM, L.B. <elbee577 wrote: > Re: Audrey OT > > Oh, Audrey, that's too bad!
