Hi Jacki:

Mix 1/2 cup of each:

wheat berries, rye berries, barley, millet, cornmeal, flax seeds, oats

pulse in food processor a few times just until all the grains are about the same

size (pieces are about as big as a flax seed) but so much that it turns to

flour.

bring to boil 1 part cereal, 4 parts waters, simmer for about 40 minutes (or

overnight in crockpot on low)

Drain all excess liquid using a strainer, spread evenly on a prepared sheet pan,

and put in 350 oven for 15 minutes, tossing it around a few times breaking apart

any large pieces, keep everything spread out, then turn off the oven leaving the

mixture in the oven until the oven is cool and the pieces are nice and dry and

crunchy... you can pulse the cool mixture again in the food processor if you

want

you can buy 7 grain cereal or mixes that are almost the same at bob's red mill

or barryfarm.com

I like this with some soy milk warmed in the microwave with some strawberries or

or other fruit

Can you give more detail about how to cook, then dry 7 grain cereal?

Thanks!
