Guest guest
The 3 black male kittens in the attached photo were placed on my front porch by its feral mother. This is exactly how they looked when I looked out my window and first saw them! An adult male feral I also fed took the kittens under his care, and they carefully imitated every move he made. If he rolled to his left side, all 3 would roll over on their left side.[Copycats?] Though feral, one of the kittens purred when I touched him, and allowed me to pick him up, so I brought him in the house and raised him. Chico's the smartest, most loving cat I've ever had, and I've had many! [P. S. Donna, I know this is supposed to be vegetarian recipe postings, but I always thought it was a miracle that magical kitten was delivered right to my front door!] --- On Mon, 12/8/08, Samantha Lea <saml wrote: > Samantha Lea <saml > RE: Re: Audrey OT > > Monday, December 8, 2008, 10:46 AM > Don't forget that in parts of Europe black cats are > considered GOOD luck. > Keep your self surrounded by them. Guest guest
What a neat story! I look forward to seeing the photos! I'm working on getting a colony of ferals close to my home spayed and neutered -- that's a chore! But I got two females last month, so at least they won't be having any kittens this spring. I usually feed the colony before dawn, it's a people-populated area and I don't want anybody to know that I'm feeding them, the property owners are weird. Audrey S.
