Guest guest
Okay Kidz... I am giving you this Recipe hoping to get some feed back. I have not tried it with black beans yet...It will end up in the 'Beans! Beans! Beans! section of the Cook book I am putting together... (Please post your feed back, I am a big boy and can take it!) 2 cans Cannellini beans [rinsed clean] 1 cup salsa [ of your choice] 1 small white onion, or half of large, minced (fine chop) 1 clove garlic minced 1/2 cup flour Kosher salt fresh ground white pepper,to taste. Note, the salt is Very tricky, you need more than you think and The salsa should be as spicy as you can deal with… In large bowl mash beans, until almost smooth. Add salsa and sautéed onion and garlic. Add flour a little at a time. Combine well. The mixture will be sticky. Form into (Long patties for French rolls. (Use a floured board) Fry in olive oil until set. Keep an eye on them, because they burn easily. I like them on French rolls with Dijon mustard and lettuce, Paper thin heaps of red onion, and a little Veg-mayo. Good luck. Let me know how they turned out.
