Guest guest
Nice to see another SCAdian here. Aren't going to feasts fun? One has to quiz the cooks or get your hands on the recipes to see what is in them and if they are veggie friendly. I play in the Middle kingdom, where are you? I don't think I'm seen as ornery, though I have been know to be energetic and feisty from time to time. Even opinionated. But not actually ornery. I work to stay within some boundaries. ;-) -ginger not Waltzing Matilda because waltzes came after 1600 and my Matilda is earlier
Guest guest
I play mostly in the Barony of Carolingia (Boston area), East Kingdom. My last big event, I volunteered to wash dishes in the feast kitchen all afternoon, even though I could not eat much of anything in there as it almost all had fish product in it. (Roman feast) The things we do for our friends! But I got to meet my son's girlfriend at the end, something I had previously not been invited to do, and there was no psychodrama. :-) -ginger aka Lady Matilda with an AoA at least partly for dishwashing
