In need of a tried and true date and nut bar recipe

My aunt wants me to make a recipe that her mother always made but

neither she nor my mother have it. Date and nut bars. I have never

made these and am hoping that someone would have a good, preferably

older, recipe vs one that might be a new twist update.

 

I really want to add it to my list of cookies to make this year

because this is the second year that she has requested it.

 

For this one I don't want to just look up any old recipe to try, so

does anyone have a tried and true one for me?
