Did you like tofu and faux hot dogs? As you go along you may want to try tempeh and seitan and maybe vegan patties in different flavours. One approach may be to determine what food you liked that had meat like say soup, sandwiches, lasagnas etc and figure out how to go meatless with that same dish perhaps. If you are just vegetarian basically no meat or fish and their by products to start out with. Consult the files and see what looks good and go from there. Good luck! Katiya Hello all! My name is Amanda. I am newly (1 1/2 weeks) vegetarian. I am having a difficult time getting support from my family on this decision, and so I am looking for a group of people to get advice from and support from. I am only vegetarian, I still eat dairy (eggs, cheese) but I am having a hard time figuring out what I can and cannot eat. I had tofu for the first time this past weekend, and also tried meatless hot dogs. Any info or help from you all would be greatly appreciated! Work out which meat or fish you miss most and try and find a vegetarian replacement for it!
