I don't use the dishwasher, I store mixing bowls and casserole dishes in it.

I love washing dishes by hand and also all my floors. Yes, on my hands and

knees

I must be the only person in the world who has never had a dishwasher. I don

t mind washing dishes and I clean my kitchen spotless every night, so I wake

up to a clean kitchen every morning. Washing dishes is like a mini bath to

me.

I know that a dishwasher is not a gadget, but an appliance, but I absolutely

could not play with my gadgets if I did have a dishwasher to help with

cleanup.

I run my dishwasher occasionally, but most often I use it as an

extended drying rack for dishes I've handwashed. I have enough things

that I do not consider dishwasher safe that it is often just plain

easier to handwash everything.
