I always look at it before I leave the restaurant. You can tell just from

looking at it that it is the veggie burger and not a regular hamburger. It's

made by Gardenburger, and it does have egg in it, there's your cholesterol.

I don't think anybody claims that it is health food.

Hi,

I've been to BK many times to get a veggie burger.

I have never received a regular hamburger. I've

been to at least four different BK's in the San Francisco

Bay / Santa Clara area. Even though I've been a vegetarian

for 10 years I'm pretty sure I could tell if it was a regular hamburger.

Admittedly, I don't know exactly what they put in the veggie burger.

The only way I'm going to know exactly is to make it and cook it myself.

Seems to have cholesterol, saturated and trans fats. Supposed to be cooked or

heated separately in the microwave. Sounds like a true mystery meat. I'd be

wondering if the hurried and harried folk working there didn't oft-times make an

accidental swap, which is SOP in a lot of burger joints when some joker asks for

a veggie burger. I don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but given the larger

inhumane nature of their business, maybe in more ways than one, I'd have mixed

feelings about any degree of patronage. Not a very re-assuring promise quoted

below from their website.
