Yes!  And Trixie seems to know when certain of the house plants need

watering!  She will do that " I gotta get your attention " voice and then do the

" please follow me " where she turns tail and darts ahead of me, then stops to

turn and see if I am behind her.  She almost always goes right up alongside or

sits down in front of a plant that, when I check the soil, is very dry and

definitely needs a drink.  Once I get the water and pour it into the plant pot,

she's good to go and has nothing more to say to me until the next time around!

Of course, " Trix " has a real " thing " about the cat-watering bowls in the

kitchen, too.  When I water a plant, I usually take the nearest cat-water bowl

and dump it onto the plant, rinse the bowl out and fill it up to the top with

fresh drinking water for any and all of the 4 cats who live here.  I almost

think Trixie does the " water the plants, please " thing just to get a full bowl

of fresh water out of the deal!

(I enjoy the furry lovey friends!)

PS: Trixie also loves to drink from the sink faucet or bathtub tap!  She waits

until I turn it on to just a thin stream, then comes close enough to lap at the

water as it falls from the tap!

It is so funny to watch, and she has done this since she was a very young

kitten!  At least 2 of my other 3 cats have " learned " to do this--I think from

seeing Trix do it.

This is very true for a Maine Coon, and if you pay full attention, you will

know what she is saying.
