Whoo hooooo!! I am glad to see someone else using TVP! We use it a lot here. I

started using it a long time ago to stretch out hamburger when the starving

horde lived here, but had to sneak it in when the kids weren't around, because

there was no way they'd eat it knowingly.

 

Mmm, chili is sounding good. I think I'll fill the crock pot and let it cook all

day. Another good use for TVP is Swedish Meat(less) balls. Just use any recipes

you find online. Meat(less) balls and marinara sauce is good too. For us, TVP

was a great transitional food for when we were going from eating meat to no

meat. Also, TVP is a whole lot cheaper than meat or the vegetarian meat(less)

products in the freezer at the grocery store.
