Guest guest
Dear heavens I hope they are all right to eat! We go through at least 3 pounds of mushrooms a week. Has anyone on the list any word about mushrooms being bad for us? I'm not talking about mushroom tea that smells like cow droppings and does odd things to a person's head. (No, I've not tried it, just seen people doing it before.) Jeanne in GA

Guest guest
Karo, Not because they are a fungus, but because of some chemical they contain (can't remember!) you are supposed to limit the amount of RAW mushrooms you eat at one time. You can eat as many COOKED mushrooms as you'd like. But don't take my word for it....... do your own research and decide for yourself. Then you can eat them and enjoy worry-free! Guest guest
I'll take your word for it Ann, thanks to all who answered my question. I'm only going to listen to people here, and not my real life people. Karo
