Here's how I prepared them: they were unflavored so first I soaked them in hot water to which I had added boullion and onion powder. After an hour, I drained them completely, sprinkled them with cornstarch and oregano, then fried them in a tablespoon of hot canola oil until they browned. I served them with stir-fried veggies and ramen noodles. Wow! They were great. I had no idea. The texture was chewy and delicious. Even my cat loved them!
