I remember the name Maypo and that there were a lot of commercials for

it when I was a kid, but that's all. I loved Tang, though! I thought it

tasted like baby aspirin (ewwww!). I think my mom bought it for me once,

declared it overpriced junk, and never brought it into the house again,

lol! Peace, Mo

But Tang had advertising on its side. Remember how we were told that

the astronauts drank it in space? If that was the case I had to have

it! (Even if fresh orange juice did taste better.)

Lol, me too! I even ended up getting my stomach pumped because, when I

found a tube of liquid cement in the car, I was convinced my parents had

relented and finally bought whatever goo in a tube was being marketed

as " space food, " so I excitedly squeezed a nice big gob into my mouth! I

guess Tang wasn't so bad after all :) Peace, Mo

We didn't have Maypo, but choldhood weekend breakfast adventures

with " scrapple " probably precipitated my vegetarianism lol.

I liked Tang. I didn't like fresh orange juice until I was a grownup.

Anybody remember grape Tang? I thought that was special and drank it

up, but eventually lost my taste for it.

I don't remember ever eating oatmeal. I must have as a baby, but

never after that. As long as I can remember, I " haven't liked " it.

Might be about time to try it again and see if that has changed.
