Guest guest
Hi Bev, Thanks for the tip about the onions. I've never grown any and was just googling to find out some more about it. Do you think just quartering a few pounds of store onions could have some growing quickly? They seem to sprout and grow roots and greens fast enough on their own in the fridge or when stored at room temp(??). Likely the sharp smell of the onion plants deters the moths from laying their eggs. I never saw a hornworm until I had some tomato plants. And I never saw any harlequin bugs before I grew any collards or kale! Thanks for your thoughts, Slim , " Bev " <bdowns45681 wrote: > > > Slim I got to thinking , I have no idea if the onions help after the horn worns have come, but they do if you plant them before they come. But it is worth a try. ... [!!!!] > Bev > >
