Guest guest
It's hard to start of with (or at least it was for me) and there will be times you miss meat and fish (I had a real craving for bacon yesterday and I still drool when I see a prawn cocktail) but it gets easier over the months and years... I've been vegetarian for 20 years now and it's so much easier now! If there is a particular meat or fish that you miss then see if there is anything that is that flavour that is suitable for vegetarians... for example, I discovered Walkers smokey bacon crisps were suitable for vegetarians a few months ago (it only took me 20 years... lol) so whenever I get a bacon craving now I go for those instead - I get the flavour I crave without stopping being a vegetarian! Welcome to the wonderful world of vegetarians! ) 2009/6/9 Tiffany <tiffanymcraig > > > Hello everyone! > > My name is Tiffany and I am just getting started with this new lifestyle. Guest guest
Don't tell me, you're in America too right? We don't have many bacon things suitable for vegetarians over here in the UK! 2009/6/9 bea pix <beapix > > > for the same reason, i go through soy bacon bits at a fast pace! Guest guest
I found that as a vegetarian, I still craved flesh from time to time. Once going vegan, I stopped wanting meat all together, and find it to be impossible to eat now. Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device from U.S. Cellular " Mandy .
