Black rice is that like wild rice? Many Thanks for your help. For Traditional dietary therapy, you could try eggs, sprouts, red grapes, walnuts, black sesame, black rice, black beans, black chicken, royal jelly. Raspberries and raspberry tea. - " fitzydread " <fitzydread (AT) (DOT) co.uk> <> Thursday, March 12, 2009 6:24 AM [vegetarian_ group] Urgent: Does anyone have any energy packed food suggestions > Hi there Group, > Just wondering if anyone has any hints or tips for energy foods as i am in > my 3rd trimester and have hit an energy plateau! Guest guest
Yeah, black rice is wild rice. It's not the same as brown rice. Brown rice is good, because it has fiber, but black rice has foundational essence. To prepare black sesame, take 1-3 tablespoons and put it in a stainless steel or earthenware pan. Cover it with an inch of water. You can take out all the floating ones, because they are empty hulls. Boil it for ten minutes. Then let it cool. Drink the water and eat the seeds. Do this every morning. - " Tracie Fitzpatrick " <fitzydread Friday, March 13, 2009 2:47 AM Re: Vigilius:A big thankyou > Hi there Vigilius, > I will certainly try out some elements of this, sounds very appetising > indeed. Wild rice is not a rice but a grass. Both are good, just completely different things. I hope this helps, Deb in Idaho
Guest guest
I had a friend send me some Minnesota wild rice, it is a shorter grain and kind of a greenish brown. I loved it. Never seen it in L.A.
