How much do you use? For how much chili?

 

I'm thinking of making chili -- it was 3.7 degrees F on my way to work at 7

am today! :)

It's for me, Carol, I'm new to the group.

Got interested in the smoked paprika I was hearing about.

Then the chili cinched it.

I'm not sure who this question is for -- but I make veggie chili just like I

made chili with meat -- just no hamburger. Sometimes I put in soy crumbles,

sometimes not. Kidney beans, chili beans, chili powder, onions, diced

tomatoes, some water, sometimes corn.... can't think of anything else -- I

don't like green peppers, but some people put those in chili. I just want to

know how much smoked paprika to put in! :)

Somebody posted a recipe for veggie chili using the Yves grounds, but I'm

not sure where it is.

I've been offline for 2 days so wasn't able to answer the questions about the

smoked paprika in the chili.

 

My chili recipe doesn't make more than 4 or 5 servings and calls for 1 tsp of

paprika. I was adding 1/2 tsp of smoked but this week I added a full tsp and I

loved it. So did DH.

This is my first time with smoked paprika and I am having a ball with it.

You can use it in so many dishes. It is excellent in chili. Thanks!!

Most of the chili recipes are in the bean folder and there are also

some in the crockpot folder.

It does have a neat taste - it's great on egg salad, vegetables, lots of

things. I get mine from Penzey's - if you don't have a store near you, here

it is online:
