Mixed Herb Dressing

 

1/2 cup oil

3 tablespoons wine vinegar

1/8 teaspoon powdered thyme

1/8 teaspoon powdered marjoram

1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves, or

4 fresh leaves, chopped

1 tablespoon minced onion

1 tablespoon water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley

 

Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well. Let stand

10 minutes. Serve over crisp salad greens.

Makes 2/3 cup.
