Guest guest
I spelled it wrong! It's Sisley Italian Kitchens that offers vegan/vegetarian entrees made w/soy protein. I had the Chicken Piccata, but they offer Chicken Marsala, a mock beef dish w/plum sauce & 3 other entrees I can't remember. Here's the website, but it does not have the vegetarian menu posted there as yet. http://www.sisleykitchen.com/home.html They are also offering a very inexpensive menu served M-F of smaller portions of simple dishes like penne marinara [$7], angel hair pasta marinara [$7], Caesar salad [$4.50], house salad [$4.50] and a few other items. My friend & I split the $4.50 Caesar salad for our starter course, & we split the mock chicken piccata [$15]...quite a bargain for L.A.! They also have an incredible selection of desserts. Lemon meringue tarts, warm chocolate chip cookie with mountains of whipped cream, wheatless chocolate cake...OMG... too much to mention...obviously, not vegan, since there is cream/butter & egg in many of them...but delicious if you are vegetarian. I read some reviews online, and people are raving about the vegetarian dishes. I hope it encourages some other big restaurant chains to include these kinds of dishes on their menus. >
