Guest guest
Hi, Mandy! I don't know what products your U.K. retailers carry, but I would be willing to bet that the Marlow Foods (aka, " Quorn " ) foods range available in your country might include a bacon-like food product. I have seen that company's U.K. product website and I simply drool with food-envy! I e-mailed the company and someone from customer care assurred me that the U.S. would soon have Quorn " burgers " by 2010! I hope to see the day we also have their other products. If they have a bacon sub., I'd say it's probably the best of any you could find. Morningstar Farms food products are made by the Kellogg company. They also produce a product line (range) called " Worthington " and " Worthington/Loma Linda " . The latter 2 are not widely available in the U.S., but we usually find the Morningstar foods in the frozen foods department or in local " health foods " stores, natural foods groceries, etc. They make breakfast sausage ( " links " ) breakfast sausage ( " patties " ), faux " bacon " , soy-burgers, a couple other kinds of veggie-burgers, faux " chicken " patties and nuggets, and hot dogs and (ever-popular) " corn-dogs " --most, if not all, of these come as frozen foods. Hope that helps. Yes, there is a website: http://www.morningstarfarms.com Best to you! --Laura B., from Illinois (U.S.A.) :-> Where do you get Morningstar Farms things from... I've never heard of it but I'll get Steve (the hubby) to look out for it
