Guest guest
Quorn Chik'n Gyros This was supper tonight -- yum! The tzatziki sauce makes a TON, probably enough for 6 servings, and it's best to make it an hour or so ahead. I'm not going to finish it all before the yogurt goes bad! Quorn cutlets tomato, cut into bite-sized pieces red onion, sliced thinly lettuce flat pita bread tzatziki sauce Drizzle Quorn cutlets with olive oil; add garlic powder, onion powder, and dried oregano to taste. Bake as directed. Tzatziki sauce: 8 oz plain yogurt (I didn't drain mine - if you like thicker, drain it or use Greek yogurt) 1/2 medium-sized cucumber, grated on large side of cheese grater, then drained in coffee filter or paper towel for 1 hour 1 1/2 tsp dried dill weed (fresh would be better if you have it) splash of lemon juice 1 tsp garlic powder Heat pita bread long enough to become pliable. Cut Quorn into bite-sized pieces and serve in pita with tomato, lettuce, onion and tzatziki. Audrey S.
Guest guest
These sound good, and easy! I'm a fan of both quorn and tzatziki sauce!
