Our Roxie is still a pup, and has outgrown most of it, but she will chew

something when she gets bored. She was actually in her crate and the cord had

dropped down into it from the kitchen counter and she killed it then. (She's a

black lab/Greyhound mix)

Chewing Dogs OT

I had a dog like that. She chewed the telephone cord, window screens, ate my

cacti if you can believe it, moved the 6 foot Christmas tree across the room

since it was in her favorite sunny spot, ate her dog bed and it looks like

toothpicks when she was done and chewed up the inside roof of my car

grrrrrrrrrrrr what a dog she was.

I've never seen the movie, but I prefer to eat what I make myself now --

eating less fried things and oil makes me not want it as much, and then if I

eat very much my stomach feels it.

I hear you on the dog chewing your cord :( I have a cat who is an occasional

cord-chewer, and a parrot who has ruined a curling iron and two stereo cords

(I finally got smart and supervise her better!)

Well, see, it wasn't really Roxie's fault then! :) Love that name! My mom

has two year-old pups, rat terrier mixes, Roxy and Tilly.

My 9-lb chihuahua mix, Jack, ate a paperback library book as a puppy (when

he weighed maybe 3 pounds!) I was horrified, I was brought up to believe

that books are sacrosanct (especially library books!) I was so ashamed of

myself as I went into the library to pay for it... :)

Pretzel, what a cute name! Daschunds are usually bad little dogs, at least

the ones I've known! Did Pretzel like to bark for no reason, too? :)
