I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello to you all. I'm in the process of converting over to being a vegetarian. I just LOVE to cook, so I'm here to look for recipes to add to my collection. I just ordered 2 vegetarian books to get me started and discovered this group. She just loves the author Mark Bittman " How to Cook Everything (Completely Revised 10th Anniversary Edition): 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food " Mark Bittman This one below got good ratings from Amazon buyers. " The New Becoming Vegetarian: The Essential Guide To A Healthy Vegetarian Diet " Vesanto Melina I hope they come soon. :-) I ordered them on Tuesday. Amazon is usually good about shipping. I'm cleaning out my freezer this weekend and giving all my meats to a friend. Except for some plain chicken that I'm saving for my dogs if they have a bad tummy day and they need some boiled chicken and rice (I have 5 dogs). Its a little big, but I do take it to bed with me at night and read it, so does brat cat Toby. Lots of great info and suggestions. Just fun to read. Enjoy.
