Guest guest
I didn't know the regular gum was made of a latex base (gross!) I do chew sugarless gum occasionally and I know it's a " vice " ...but if they switch to corn base, let me know--I would definitely avoid chewing gum at any cost if it's made from corn--unless they actually use organic stuff! Laura B., from Illinois Do you know that companies are working on making a biodegradable gum base out of corn protein? Most gum base now is made from a combination of *Latex* (rubber ), chemicals, artificial colors , flavors and sweetner. I can't find a gum that isn't made without artificial sweetner. Anybody know of one? Deanna in Colorado
