There are some vegetarian Worcheshire souces available at health food stores.

Also if you have a Kroger Grocery store near you, their store brand doesn't have

anchovies in it.

bbq sauce?

i wanna start making my own bbq sauce... anyone have any simple starter

recipes? I found a good looking one online - but it has worcestershire sauce in

it which isn't veggie.. what would you replace it with? Hot sauce? It's only a

little bit..

I forgot to mention that we also have a vegetarian worcheshire sauce recipe in

our recipe files.

Look in our recipe files under " substitutes for meat " and then in the subfolder

" not hot dogs " . I have a BBQ Hot dog recipe there and the sauce is quite good.

Let us know what you try and enjoy.

Enjoy,

Judy

My mom makes an absolutely fab bbq sauce (although I may be a little bias...)

Not sure if she has a recipe, I think after all these years she just knows what

to throw in.

Would you like me to ask her for you? She is not a veggie though...not sure if

this matters.

Let me know
