Guest guest
IAWTC. Take it slow, and don't beat yourself up if you can't do everything at once. It takes a while to get used to what you can and can't have (and there are things that may surprise you on both sides), although you may find that you have the basics in hand much quicker than you'd expect. Also, the internet is brilliant. If you want a few recipies for ideas and such, http://www.theppk.com/ is one of my favourites (and very welcoming), and the others have already posted some other links I'd recommend. Guest guest
Ingredients of what? Whether it's food or shampoo etc., I'd suggest not trying to replace everything at once. Just buy what you need when you run out of something. Look for the simplest products. In her book *What to Eat*, Marion Nestle advises avoiding any food product with more than 5 ingredients. Or focus on one type of product a week, such as crackers or whatever your favorite snack food is. Of course, cooking at home is the sure-fire way to know what you're eating. When I add new things I stir up the contents to mix it all up and then when I want to add some to soup I have a great mix of things. My soup greens jar has nettles, dandelion, cleavers, chickweed, cabbage, carrots, spinach, broccoli and some stuff I can't remember. Lisa **************Who's never won? Guest guest
I add a bit of smoke flavoring to veggie broth, and then cook the collard greens in that. It's supposed to approximate the Southern style, which would include ham. Alex

Guest guest
There's VegNews, but it tends to be on the militant side, and I find that off-putting. I think you might have better luck compiling a list of Web sites and blogs to read regularly. Not a great economy for print magazines that don't appeal to a mass audience.
