Guest guest
I have this for breakfast most mornings. It is quick, super delicious and very filling. Making your own flavored and sweetened yogurt, allows you to make it with far less sweetener, a healthier sweetner, and way less extra stuff that you don't know how to pronouce. Agave Syrup can be found in health food stores and has a very low glycemic index. It taste delicous. Maple or Vanilla Yogurt with Cereal Parfait 2 c. Plain Yogurt 1/4 c. agave syrup Couple of drops of either Natural Maple Flavoring or Vanilla Flavoring Stir together well. Granola of your choice. I like the Sunbelt brand. http://www.sunbeltsnacks.com/products_pages/banana_nut.asp or http://www.sunbeltsnacks.com/products_pages/berry_basic.asp Apple diced up, sliced peaches/necterines, diced up strawberries, blacberries, sliced bananas, Nuts(almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc), raw green pumpkin seeds, raw sunflower seeds, shelled hemp seeds. When ready to eat, in your cereal bowl, Stir together some of the flavored yogurt mixture, granola, as many of the above toppings as you wish. I always add some kind of fresh fruit, all of the seeds mentioned above and one of the nuts above. Enjoy, Judy
