Guest guest Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 Hi everyone I have a huge problem and hope that the " Family " here can give me some suggestions. I HATE cooked mushrooms. I love the taste they give to things, but when they are cooked, to ME they taste slimy. Dosn't matter if they are in sauce or on pizza or what ever, I just can't get them down. I know its partly the texture thing, but....what to do. I really don't like them at all fresh. A lot of the recipies I have, call for them, generally in large quanities. It brings the mushroom flavor into a dish but the mushroom is ground very fine with the S & P and herbs. Maybe fine chopping mushrooms in food processor would help?
