Hello Everyone!

Thanks for accepting my membership!

I'd like to add a recipe, hopefuly it's a new one that you'll love.

Pea and paneer* curry.

Ingredients:

2bsp vegetables oil

227g pack of Paneer (indian cheese) torn into pieces

1 onionl thinly sliced

2 tbsp mild curry paste

450g potatoes; peeled and cut into chunks

400g can of chopped tomato and garlic

300ml vegetables stock

300g frozen peas

boiled rice to serve

Instructions:

1.Heat 1 tbsp of vegetables oil and fry the paneer for 3 minutes. When its

golden and crispy, remove from the pan and set aside.

2. Fry the onion with the remaining oil for 5 minutes (becareful not to burn

them!).

3. Add the curry paste and stir fry for another 2 minutes.

4. Add the potatoes, tinned tomatoes and the stock and bring to boil.

5. Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes.

6. Add the peas, bring back to boil and then lower the heat to simmer for 5

minutes.

7. Season to taste and serve hot with plain boiled rice.

Enjoy!

Notes:

* Paneer is a flavourless indian cheese, that resembles in my opinion Tofu.

- I like it a lot spicier, so I add chili powder in step 3.

- Cauliflower would work just as good, for a vegan version.

Thank you very much! This sounds much easier than most Indian recipes. I can't

wait to try it. I love peas and paneer.
