Guest guest
Found Gardenburger Gourmet veggie steaks (or maybe they called them " Garden Gourmet, " but they were Gardenburger brand) at Whole Foods the other day -- obviously, not cheap (I think they turned out to be $2 or $2.50 apiece, package of 2) but darn good! I got the Baja flavor. These are big, but low in calories -- around 190 for a nice large patty. Rice, beans, avocado, cilantro, pepper jack cheese -- wonderful! Not something I'll buy often, but they were a nice treat. Audrey S.
Guest guest
Those sound so good. My local grocery JUST began stocking morningstar BBQ riblets (marking them as NEW! Even though I've heard other vegs talking about them), so its gonna be awhile before I see those steaks. Guest guest
I think the Morningstar ones are new -- until recently, I've only ever seen Gardenburger's riblets. They're good. I'll have to try Morningstar Farm's. Audrey S. On Mon, Jan 12, 2009 at 9:04 AM, <ashley_kayei wrote: > Those sound so good. Guest guest
Well, at least you've got some! I bet you'll like them, you'll have to let us know if they're good. Gardenburger's bbq sauce is a little sweet, some people don't like that, but I do. Audrey S. On Mon, Jan 12, 2009 at 10:03 AM, <ashley_kayei wrote: > Oooh! Guest guest
I was just in the grocery store and saw the MS riblets and a new (to me) Italian Sausage.? Does anyone know if the riblets are as sweet as the Gardenburger riblets? TM http://scrappotpourri.typepad.com/my_weblog/
