Guest guest
I looked through my back issues and didn't find this article. When I have more time, I will look again. I may have missed it. Judy in CO
Guest guest
Check out these sites.....don't know if there are any where you can participate..... http://www.happycow.net/travel/bb_united_states.html http://www.vegetarianusa.com/vegetarianbedbreakfast.html Jann Steph <mrswalp29 wrote: > > I know many of you get Vegetarian Time. Last year they had an article on a Farm Sanctuary in New York that was a Bed and Breakfast. I would absolutely love to go there for my Anniversary. Does anyone know where it is and the name? I have googled it and it doesn't show up. Also if anyone knows any other sanctuaries you can stay at and even help as " farm hand " let me know. I love that kind of thing. While most people would like to be sitting on a beach for their special days I would rather be playing with the piglets..hehe > Steph > > > > >
Guest guest
Steph try this link, this may be it....www.farmsanctuary.org or read this to see if it jogs your memory. Our 175-acre New York farm is set amidst rolling green hills and forests in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. We are located next door to Sugar Hill State Forest, just west of Watkins Glen. It is a 45-minute drive west of Ithaca and a 1½-hour drive southeast of Rochester. In addition to caring for hundreds of animals, Farm Sanctuary's New York facility receives thousands of visitors every year. The " People Barn, " a unique visitor center, is filled with displays, literature and videos. It also includes the " Kids' Korner " and gift shop, where visitors will find a variety of items, including books, videos, posters and vegetarian snacks. Good Luck Katiya I know many of you get Vegetarian Time. Last year they had an article on a Farm Sanctuary in New York that was a Bed and Breakfast. I would absolutely love to go there for my Anniversary...

My nephew and girlfriend gave up their day jobs to work full time and they love it. They have dogs and cats as well as pigs, sheep, goats, horses etc. They also have yurts that you can rent. Matt and Karen will show you a good time. Deb in Idaho
