Guest guest Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 I was in the supermarket yesterday and came across some horseradish root, for which I have been searching for a couple of years. Now that I finally have some, of course I cannot remember what I wanted it for. Any ideas on preparation, preservation or uses for horseradish? I also bought some young leaf spinach and I have to tell you that I still don't like it. I will try hiding it in some veggie soup. I also remember reading that it inhibits the uptake of calcium, which probably doesn't make it the best of things for a vegan to eat.
