All American canner, I believe one of the canners is a Presto. I have several Mirro pressure cookers, several Presto and one stainless steel Presto pressure cooker that I use for cooking acidic food. I use the other pressure cookers mostly for creating distilled water or for canning. I have one 4.5 quart Mirro I use for canning jams and jellies because it is short and it works for that. I would recommend stainless steel if food is going to be in contact with the cooker. Otherwise aluminum is fine for canning and if you can find a used canner at Goodwill (like I do) for under $6 it is well worth it. Just make sure that it is easy to clean and be sure to keep the vent very clean -- I use a toothpick or pipecleaner to clean it.
