Guest guest
Hi Mindy! Is your TVP moist or dry? And what shape (ground, slices, chunks)? I purchase dry slices in bulk, and always toss a handful into soups and stews. Be sure to include enough liqid to rehydrate the TVP. The dry slices can also be simmered in water with a little acid (such as a splash of vinegar) until soft, then drained and baked covered with sauce - comes out chewy. Guest guest
My TVP is dry. I kind of looks like granola, lol. Guest guest
Search recent messages. Just last week I posted a wonderful recipe for TVP mole enchiladas. Guest guest
I've got Mike's TVP mole enchiladas recipe saved, haven't tried yet, but it looks really good! I just recently tried TVP, too -- the stuff that looks like granola, like you've got. I rehydrated it in an equal amount of water with beef-type bouillon in it and then added taco seasoning. Really, really good tacos! Audrey S. On Tue, Jul 7, 2009 at 11:38 AM, Mindy-n-Shawn <hunnybunns4233wrote: > > > My TVP is dry.
