Guest guest
Try this, get a bag of frozen mixed veggies and eat then frozen as a snack. They are great. I do this all the time, especially on a hot day. I like a mix with carrots, peas and corn. I picked green beans out of the garden and ate them raw. Really good that way. Maybe if I try hard I can skip the flu shot that doesn't work anyway. lol Carol --- On Thu, 1/15/09, genny_y2k <genny_y2k > wrote: genny_y2k <genny_y2k > [vegetarian_ group] Re: you are what you eat Thursday, January 15, 2009, 5:38 PM Carol, Join the crowd. I'm in my 60's and still learning. When I was growing up I thought all food came in a tin can. Then we moved to a rural setting with a pea field on one side and potato on the other. I actually had never eaten raw vegetables or knew anything about herbs and spices. Brother and I shucked peas and ate them raw and that was the beginning of my love for food, especially veggies and fruits. 25 yrs. ago I became a Vegetarian. I still on occasion eat organic butter, cheese, and eggs. So far it's working for me. While others around me are experiencing *colds* I'm feeling great. Haven't had a cold in many years and never the flu. (knock on wood) I laugh alot and love life. Is that because I am what I eat? I don't know. Actually I find that what I think I know is often proven wrong. Guest guest
Veggie popcicle! I like those mixed vegtables. My daughter knows a woman that has a resturant, and she ordered some frozen vegtables from her . The corn is fantastic!!! It's plump and juicy, doesn't taste like the corn in the cans.
