Nutrtional Yeast Flakes - not yeast for bread

Most of the Nutritional Yeast Flakes products sold, have the Vit. B 12 in

them. I would not buy it in bulk bins, however

since it is a light sensitive product and light can destroy it. Also you

will know for sure what is in your product, when you have the

container. I buy the Kal Brand and it has the Vit. B 12 in it.

Also, I buy the Spring Valley sublingual liquid B Complex(has all the

B-Vitamins), that you put a dropper full under your tongue daily, at our local

Wal-mart for about $6/bottle. It is readily absorbed into the body in this

form.

The only nutritional yeast product that I'm aware of that specifically

contains B-12 is " Red Star Nutritional Yeast - Vegetarian Support Formula " . Its

UPC number is 017929-745608. " There are many other nutritional yeast products

that do contain many of the vitamin B's but not B-12.
