Guest guest
At the risk of sounding dense, what does Jicama taste like? What kind of flavor does it have or does it add to recipes? I remember seeing it in the store but have never been able understand how it's used or what it tastes like. Carol
Guest guest
I love it. Very refreshing kind of like waterchestnuts, adds a nice crunch to. Salads to you can just peel and eat. Guest guest
Cut it into matchsticks, toss with chile powder and lime and add to your saladfs. This is how I eat it. I call it the Mexican potato. Chico
Guest guest
I personally think of the yuca as the mexican potato. When I was in costa rica we ate fried yuka sticks at every meal. They were dipped in mayo instead of ketchup. The locals would look at you funny if you ate ketchup, lol.
