Guest guest
can you grow house plants in that window? my windows have a UV filter and the plants get tall and spindly from lack of sun. I would suggest a pot of mixed herbs.... seeds are much cheaper, but take time and patience. Chives, oregano, parsley, cilantro, basil, sage, mint ...... whatever you'd like. When you use an onion or green onions, bury the root end in the dirt. If needed, put a fluorescent light over them. One of the new corkscrew fluorescent bulbs in any desk lamp or clip on lamp will work. On Jul 23, 2009, at 3:05 PM, Adelaide Meyers wrote: > Does anyone have any tips on indoor gardening. Guest guest
A south facing window should give you enough for herbs, lettuce and cherry tomatoes. If you can afford it, the Aero Garden is high on my " soon as we're rich " things. It's a couple hundred dollars but ..wow. Here's the link. http://www.aerogardenoutlet.com/promotion/index.php?promoName=catalog & pageName=h\ omepage & r=1 Hope this helps.Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
Wow Jeanne. That Aero Garden is cool! I may have to wait until I am rich too though. It would be really fun to try to grow the herbs, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. Thanks for the information.
