Guest guest
Oh, Karen, I don't know -- this might be really good. My mama taught me to put both peanut butter AND mayo on BLTs. (and I still do it, just with fake bacon!) Audrey S. Guest guest
Makes no sense to judge it until you try it lol. Sounds bad tastes great. It really does. Let me know which recipe you like, wonderful to hear feedback. Guest guest
OK I just made 1/2 a batch up, not bad, kind of good, I think I like it. Donna I will never doubt you again. No more yuck from me. Good dip for celery. Karo ---- Audrey Snyder 5/20/2009 3:13:55 PM Re: repost Peanut -Yeast Spread Oh, Karen, I don't know -- this might be really good. Guest guest
I test my recipes on others and they have to give me the honest truth, I can take it. This one has been well received and it's a good way to use those nutritional yeast flakes. Glad you like it. Guest guest
I made it for a cook out we have every Wednesday night, I had everybody try it before I told them what it was. Well everybody loved it, and asked for the recipe. When I told them what it was, they couldn't believe it. I think I wrote it down at least 12 times on post it notes. So once again I have to eat my words, at least I can but some yeast spread on it. Thanks again Donna, oh and I gave you all the credit too. Guest guest
Hahaha it's not that good. You know if a person doesn't like any of the ingredients then maybe they won't like the recipe. I detest mint in any shape opr form so if one mint leaf was on top of my tea I would have to toss it. It is odd how the yeast, mayo and peanut butter just kind of blend together. Good protein spread and yeast has so many nutrients in it. I'm good at mixing things together, I love to create something new all the time, yet make it quick and from scratch. Enjoy more recipes from the folders, we have plenty to try. Guest guest
'm really hoping that it is that good. We bought nutritional yeast last week and Den has gone nutsy finnigan for it. He'll eat it right out of the container with a spoon and wants it on just about everything. This whole vegetarian/vegan thing has turned out to be such a wonderful adventure. Guest guest
I liked this. Peanut butter by itself is too sticky sometimes. This especially would be good on a Morningstar Farms bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich -- I'll have to get my mom to try it! I used creamy peanut butter and the texture is a little odd -- I'll use crunchy next time. Thanks, Donna! Audrey S.
Guest guest
Glad to hear your review. I use crunchy, I never cared for the creamy as much but I will eat it. Just an easy little thing to mix up, huh?
