Cigarettes!  That was the worst habit to break.  I don't smoke cigarettes

anymore.  Yay!  I'm not going to ever call myself a non-smoker, I'm a recovered

smoker.  Who knows what the future holds, those are a day by day struggle.  It's

been about 10 years and I still crave them.

Hello Everyone

 

I'm a new member, just joined yesterday.

I've made quite a few changes in my life. One major change was to quit

smoking ! It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I really enjoyed it and

looked forward to every puff LOL but my Granddaughter ( 6 yrs old at the time)

told me that drugs were bad for me ? " What drugs? Cigarettes aren't drugs

?! " She was told at school it was I thought " OMG! " lol after thinking

long and hard, I decided I had to quit smoking esp when you have a young one

giving you that " look " lol Sooooo on November 11, 2006 at exactly 11am I

finally quit smoking and been dying for one ever since, just kidding ! LOL I

feel better and smell better lol BUT ! I've gained a few pounds so I've been

trying to eat healthier and walking with my dogs 2 to 3 times a week...to get

myself in better shape.

I always knew I could do without poultry and beef, I just needed to get some

ideas on recipes...so here I am

I am 57 yrs young, have 3 beautiful dogs that keep me on my toes and have

my Granddaughters throughout the week with me. I'm actually starting to

like " water " a lot now and have cut out the soft drinks...
