Guest guest
I also had some scary moments on Ambien. Lots of sleep walking, eating, and arguing with hubby. Apparently I tried to sleep drive! I also threw a candle in a glass jar at my husband. Thankfully no one was hurt. It frightened me enough that I will never take it again. Guest guest
I couldn't agree more.? I'm very anti medication and grudgingly take my blood pressure meds but that's it at the moment.? I even think long and hard before I swallow something as mundane as Motrin.? What works for one person can possibly cause severe side effects in another.? When Chantix first came out my doc was gung ho and recommended it highly.? Last time I was there, he had changed his tune.? I don't trust anyone when it comes to my well being (least of all the pharmaceutical companies).? What's? touted as a wonder drug today most likely will kill or maim you tomorrow.? Thanks, but no thanks. There's a very good website http://www.askapatient.com/index.asp?where you can read reviews of others' experience with different meds and also add your own review.? I've found it to be an invaluable resource. The best thing one can do is be INFORMED and not be so eager to swallow just anything because it's prescribed. We aren't a medical group but I did want to say something.? Do not assume the meds your doctors prescribe are safe.? Please get all the info you can on them, make sure to read the side effects, visit message boards.

Guest guest
years ago I had Guillain Barre syndrome. I recovered quicker than anyone the hospital had seen in 6 months. i was supposed to go to therapy 3 times per week, but it was too hard on my mother, at the time she had my one year old baby to care for, and me. I didn't make it to therapy mos times. What was my therapy? WEED, plain and simple. It helped me relax, it helped me eat, it helped me sleep. I am for legalization of marih=juana 100 percent. blessings, Chanda , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > We aren't a medical group but I did want to say something. She was sick for 3 days when the doc gave her a Xamax sample after her sister passed. > Something the group doesn't know about me is......................... > I teach terminal patients, (cancer and Aids) how to cook vegetarian meals and also cook with their medical marijuana when they can no longer inhale. These patients now have appetites, they are calm with no anxiety, they can sleep, and have decreased their meds by 1/3 to 1/2 now. I also have them incorporate sleep music and at night, and relaxing music throughout the day. The vegetarian diet has helped them too. > Donna > > > > Barn's burnt down ....... now I can see the moon.
