I was a vegan vegetarian for three years but went back to meat after some time. I am now trying to go back to being a vegetarian (not vegan) and will appreciate any discussion around these issues. These are the best people on the internet, but I admit to being a bit prejudiced in favor of the folks here and on feral vegetarian. Outside of vegetarianism being a healthy way of life, one thing that might help you return to being a vegetarian is the cost of meat. *shudder* I can buy a lot of beans and fresh veggies for the cost of a pound of meat or chicken, and even if we still ate fish, we couldn't afford that.
