Guest guest
i love sprouts and they are a part of every meal. I don't think you see many 'cooked' recipes using sprouts, because the benefits of eating them raw far outweigh any flavor or texture they add to the dish. I'd estimate that 25% of what I eat is raw sprouts. I eat them right of the sprouter most of the time, and the only time i ever 'cook' them is if I toss them into a soup right before i eat it or use leftovers in a very quick stir fry, and even then they don't really cook, just warm them up a bit which some would argue isn't good, but i like them so much that i put them in everything. My favorite is raw sprouted lentils over cooked brown rice or quinoa, tasty. The bulk of what I sprout ends up in smoothies with some frozen fruit and soy yogurt or milk or rice milk
