Guest guest
A few weeks ago, I noticed a bird flying into the side of a trailer on our property. Upon inspection, I found a nest with SIX eggs!! They started to hatch four days ago- so far there are three babies. So cute, little fluff balls!! It is a wonderful site, as another nest on our property was " attacked " by a wild animal (probably our cat that got out). That one had about 5 babies and they were getting so big. I was devestated when I found it empty and tell-tale claw marks on the grill of the motorhome where it was at. We also have a morning dove nest in a shed that was occupied at least twice. I love the spring and now that we live on 5 acres, we have so much more " wild-life " around here!! A quick question, though. Will bunnies eat tomato plants? We saw some pellets in our grassy area so they have been around. We live in the desert, so I am not sure if they are different kinds of rabbits. I just don't want our crop to go missing.... Thanks!
