Guest guest
There are bar-b-q & flavored tofus [such as teriyaki or pineapple] as well as mock egg salad made with tofu that are delicious, and that you would not recognize as tofu. These products are mostly available in health food stores or Whole Foods. One of my favorite things are tofu corn dogs. They are on sticks just like beef corn dogs, and can be microwaved in under 2 minutes & eaten with your favorite mustard. They are wonderful! Also there are all kinds of substitute meat products such as Italian meat balls, sausage, fake shrimp, fake chicken, fake turkey [called tofurkey]. Last Thanksgiving I made sweet potatoes w/tofurkey gravy that were awesome. There is no reason to have a diet of pasta & beans with all the amazing products available these days. --- On Thu, 5/7/09, Nancy B <braseltonmomof3 wrote: > Nancy B <braseltonmomof3 >>> We have tried tofu and do NOT like it at all! > We love pasta and we would eat beans if I could find a good > recipe that is seasoned quite well! > Nancy > > > > >
