I steamed artichokes the other day and didn't care for most of it -- I was

thinking " what's the big deal, it's hard to do, hard to eat and doesn't

taste like anything... " and then I got to the heart!!! Wonderful!!! (I

dipped mine in melted butter with a little extra salt -- not healthy, but a

nice treat!)

I live in artichoke-land and I buy them marinated in a jar. They get on my

nerves, take too long to eat lol

I love artichokes! love picking off petal after petal, dipping them in a little

melted butter mixed with lemon juice and scraping every bit of yummy off. Then

you get ot the prize for all that effort: the heart oooooooo yum!

Peace,

Diane

I didn't really think there was much yummy stuff on the petals... but then I

don't like having to " work " for my food once the cooking's done! I did enjoy

the hearts, though, so nice and tender! :)

I am totally in the pro-artichoke camp. Love 'em! Been eating them since I was a

kid.

I microwave the suckers...so much easier.

I just wish I could afford to eat artichokes every day. I like dipping them in

some Vegenaise. Yummers!
