Guest guest
I like Nancy's Organic: http://www.nancysyogurt.com/nancys_products/soy.php . I don't know if it qualifies as low sugar, though. (There's no actual sugar in it, but there is agave and grape juice concentrate.) Peace, Mo Katiya wrote: > I have been vegan for quite awhile minus yoghurt. I do love yoghurt and > perfer to get a 32oz tub but especially one with low sugar. Guest guest
Goat milk yogurt is usually quite creamy, at least the ones Ive tried from TJoe's & Whole Foods. I think Brown Cow yogurt is very smooth, too, but I've not tried it in a while, since I'm trying to go vegan! --- On Mon, 2/9/09, Katiya <madisonlayne36 wrote: > Katiya <madisonlayne36 > questions for vegans on yoghurt > > Monday, February 9, 2009, 6:53 AM > I have been vegan for quite awhile minus yoghurt. Guest guest
I make and eat tons of vegan yogurt every week. Well at least a gallon(!). Ingredients are only water, lentils, with a little whole oat cereal, and sugar + salt to taste. I pump 'em all through my soymilk machine (without soybeans) so it is essentially non-fat and sets naturally to a nice pudding texture in the fridge after fermentation. Needs no thickeners. My ongoing fil mjolk culture has a nice lemony sour in bean milks. Cost is about 7 cents for a 300 gram serving and I reckon under 100 calories. Search for my prior posts on Lentil Oat Milk (LOM).
