Guest guest
You might want to try this basic Quinoa Flour patty that I've been experimenting with. Add your own spices or herbs to suit your taste. I like the somewhat chewy texture of these patties and the flavor is very good. Quinoa Flour Patty 1 Cup Quinoa Flour 2 eggs , slightly beaten 2 Tab. Braggs Liquid Aminos (or your choice of liquid broth) 1 teas.Basil *1 teas.onion powder *1 teas. onion Powder Directions: In small bowl slightly beat 2 eggs Add liquid, herbs and spices Stir in Quinoa Flour Drop by spoonfuls into a scant amount of hot oil Using the spoon spread out the mixture to form a patty Brown on both sides and serve hot or cold , plain or with your choice of condiments/sauces. Note: By adding additonal Quinoa Flour you can make a stiffer dough that can be formed into a patty by hand. I prefer the above recipe because it is easier and faster. Makes 4 medium size patties. You can also use this same above recipe for dumplings. Drop into boiling water or broth. * Don't substitute onion or garlic *salt* instead of powder or your mixture will be too salty.
